Solar-powered Sleeps 20 Next to New River WV gorge

In the middle of our heavily wooded 19 acres is a beautiful 4-acre meadow full of wildlife. Nestled in field among some trees is a ranch-style home with a twist or two that accommodates 20 guests. The Meadows is for your really big getaway. Bedrooms are upstairs and downstairs, along with 3 1/2 baths, an extra large hot tub, and all kinds of amenities. Weddings, Parties, Events… Oh My! With a combination of lots of comfortable room and the quiet scenic grounds, couples that are looking for something better for their wedding can stop surfing. Both the ceremony and reception can be had at The Meadows House. And there’s enough room for the whole wedding party to stay. Friends and family at weddings or other functions ofter stay in the cabins that are a short walk away from The Meadows. Many couples like the fact that their friends and family can stay at the same location of the wedding itself. It seems that some if not all of the guests take advantage of the occasion by spending some vacation time visiting the New River Gorge National Park. There’s so much to do, it’s easy to make a week’s worth of wedding celebration instead of just a quick weekend. We host various group activities. CSI incorporated recently held their corporate retreat here. They were thinking out of the box. We are home to the New River Birding and Nature Festival. Several Churches have annual retreats here. Quilting bees, Bird Banding Class, Board meetings, After The Party Soak in the hot tub on the deck while looking at the stars. Swing on the porch swing in the screened-in porch.
