The Owl Cabin is an over 1000sqft home at the base of Nemo Mountain! All real beds in two luxurious bedrooms - no foldouts! Stay right in Nemo on Nemo Rd - walk to the restaurant, ATV rentals, and mercantile! No long winding gravel roads - direct access to Rapid, Sturgis, Deadwood, Hill City! Relax in the 40' heated salt-water swimming pool! Also fast mesh WiFi, 4 TVs stream Netflix, Amazon Video, Music and more! Beautiful Vacation Home! The house is located on a 5 acre parcel and we own both adjoining parcels. The east side of the property frames an unobstructed view of Nemo Mountain. There is a wild brook trout stream at the base of the mountain and the entire mountain is owned by the USFS, so your view is rock formations and Ponderosa pines with beautiful sunrises and reflective sunsets. There are mowed paths through your yard to access the creek. In the tall grass and flower areas there are herds of deer who will hide and sleep in the grass at night. The Owl offers expansive windows and an open floor plan to allow for comfortable gatherings. We have two wall fireplaces, one in the living room and the other in the spacious master bedroom suite. The master bedroom suite has a king sized bed. The second bedroom has built-in bunks that provide two twin-XL beds. In addition, the second bedroom has a queen bed. All beds are extremely comfortable. The covered porch located on the north side of the house offers an unobstructed view of the mountains. Most of the furniture is collectable vintage. This house has been completely remodeled and when we opened it up for rental last fall it was booked solid until the close of the season.
