The perfect Northern California location for a romantic weekend or relaxing escape for family or friends. Lovely cottage in a picturesque country setting located in a convenient location at the base of the Sierra foothills only 2 miles from the town of Lincoln, Situated 7 miles from Interstate 80 between Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. There are many equestrian and biking trails nearby. Visitors wanting to soak up Gold Rush history will enjoy a visit to nearby Auburn approximately 20 minutes by car. In addition, you may like to stroll around the property viewing the many Maidu Indian grinding rocks, pestles and Native American fertility rock. Two comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sleeping loft will accommodate 10 people max .( 8 adults max possibly 2 kids)The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare your meals. Towels and linens are provided. There is a sun-room with a cozy outdoor area equipped with a propane barbecue. A second barbecue is located near the pool area. A favorite activity of visitors is relaxing on the grassy private beach near the river and enjoying the built in fire pit (wood is provided for an additional charge). ***BECAUSE OF COVID 19 we are currently only accepting reservations of immediate families who have been sheltered in place together. Trying to make sure it’s as safe as possible during these uncertain times. The specifics: 1 bedroom with one king bed 1 bedroom with one queen size bed Sun room with 2 twin beds sleeping loft/ one queen size futon and 2 twin beds covered private patio Pool and hot tub only available on Mondays, Wednesday’s, Friday and Saturday’s for an additional fee of 50$ per day. If interested in having pool access, inquiry with host at the time of booking. Access if rented is private for you and your over night guests. (Hot Tub and Pool ONLY: Available only during the summer months, May Thur September, possibly until mid October if weather permits. Pool area includes: pool, pool house, jacuzzi, BBQ area and large seating/ dining area. Pool hours 9am to 9pm Two tv’s One with Direct TV and one with VCR and DVD Two night minimum Pets for additional fee NO PARTIES or EVENTS!
