Located behind a private gate, the entire property is fenced, secluded and has a touch of magic around every corner. From the front gate you enter your own private courtyard with a trickling coy pond, picturesque swing and a view of the home and it's Spanish style and red tiled roof. The long walkway covered in wisteria leads you to the front door. Entering through the front door you have a large living room to your left with a designer wooden ceiling installed by the builder in 1933. The designer of the home happened to be a boat builder and used his love of building boats to design the intricate ceilings in this room. The living room also boasts a fantastic view of the LA skyline and directly looks out to your waterfall pool, hot tub and and extra outdoor eating area perched over the hill. Through the living room you access the library/den and entertainment room with flat screen TV and Sonos. These adjoining rooms bring in the old world charm and warmth. Through the door on your right you will find the newly renovated kitchen with all your appliances and even a built in floor to ceiling wine cooler. The kitchen sink sits under a large window with views towards the San Fernando valley and down onto the properties private fairy tale type garden with small bridge to access another outdoor eating space. Your washer and dryer are located off the side of the kitchen in an adjacent laundry room. To finish out the main floor you will find one bedroom with a queen size bed with luxury linens. Up the tiled stairs to the right of the front door you find yourself on an open landing with access to three bedrooms. The first two bedrooms both have queen size beds and share a newly renovated jack-and-jill bathroom with deep soaking tub. The first upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed with a queen size trundle bed under. Each of these mattresses are new and topped with high quality linens. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen bed with luxurious linens, a romantic balcony overlooking the private courtyard and a large flatscreen TV. On the other side of the long landing is the master bedroom. This room provides a king size mid century modern bed and has amazing views of Los Angeles. Completing the master bedroom is that private bathroom with separate tub/shower and a walk in closet. Outside the home is even more magic! The design of the pool was done to blend into the natural and park like setting. The heated pool* has a baja ledge, hot tub and infinity edge. With a built in creek, pond and waterfall feature this pool is made to be enjoyed and is ready for your family! The large grassy area provides a fun place for little feet to play ball, or for families to share conversations and laughs.
