The Guesthouse at The Oak at Millsite Farm

Our guesthouse is a 1880's barn that has been meticulously restored. The central portion of the guesthouse offers a rustic dining area, full kitchen, separate men's and women's restrooms and a laundry facility. The loft has been converted into a dormitory style bedroom with a king bed and five twins. A large sunroom/greatroom is attached with a breathtaking 270 degree view of the property. Cable TV, Wi-Fi, heat and air conditioning have all been added. A charcoal grill, outdoor furniture, and picnic tables are on site for outdoor grilling. The grounds are beautiful and feature an abundance of wildlife: eagles, deer, herons and mink are commonly seen. Ohio's legendary Cold Creek, which originates upstream at the Blue Hole meanders through the property. A walk along the stream will reveal trout rising to insects floating on the surface. While the setting is truly rural, the home is less than 15 minutes from Cedar Point, Kalahari, Lake Erie Island ferry service, local wineries and downtown Sandusky. Maximum allowable occupancy is seven, but larger groups will be considered and need owners approval.
