Skytop: Breathtaking views and easy walk into town

Whatever the season, Skytop is the ideal base for your Methow Valley adventures. Guests enjoy spectacular views, enchanting wildlife and remoteness -- all within an easy walk to downtown Winthrop. The cottage is wheelchair-accessible. The main cottage was completed in 2014, and a second bedroom -- the elegant Treehouse Suite -- added two years later. Amenities include electric car charger port, recycled bowling-lane countertops, gas fireplace and barbecue, an extensive library and DVD collection, high-speed Wi-Fi, and even a resident celebrity: 'Sue', a full-size replica of the Field Museum's famous T-Rex skull. The kitchen includes a gas range, microwave and dishwasher. The separate Treehouse Suite features a gas fireplace, freestanding tub and breathtaking second-story views. Skytop guests may rent it for an addition $100 per night, paid directly to the owner. (Sorry, no pets.)
