Family friendly 2 bedroom suite steps from the gravel beach and walking distance to Cowichan Bay village on Vancouver Island. Large, covered, private patio with heaters for sitting out day or night. Listen for the owls or watch the bats in the early evening twilight. Well appointed kitchen and barbecue on the patio for those who love to cook. Coffee and tea for your first morning are provided and the kitchen is stocked with basic spices to get you started. The 18' pool is a common area shared with the hosts. The suite is stocked with pool towels as well as robes for the adults. Above ground pool is 4 ft deep with no shallow end. Children need to be supervised at all times. Cowichan Bay is home to several fine restaurants, ocean side pub and True Grain bakery where they grind their own heirloom grains. Take a walk on the pier and check out the funky shops. Cowichan Bay is 50 minutes north of downtown Victoria and 50 minutes south of Nanaimo. Guests will enhance their visit to the area by leaving the highway and checking out the sights along the winding rural roads. Travel past vineyards, farms and the Cowichan Bay Estuary. The bathroom has a custom shower and a nice deep bath tub that is great for soaking.
