ROMANTIC RIVERSIDE GUEST SUITE IN ELORA
Nestled in the heart of a charming village with lovely gardens and riverside views, this sparkling clean, open concept, ground floor suite has numerous features that our guests just love. Guests enjoy a private entrance to the guest suite which has a professionally decorated interior, amazing views, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full sized stove and fridge. The living room features a beautiful gas fireplace, cozy couch seating with extra throw blankets and views to the lush gardens, our cedar forest and the Grand River. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with spa like amenities. Our guests sleep in a romantic bedroom complete with candles and luxury bedding in a sumptuous wrought iron queen size bed. With the ambiance of being at the cottage, relax in the lovely gardens, snooze in the hammock, read in the Muskoka riverside chairs and watch the swans swim by. Our adventurous guests also love making a fire in either of our two seasonal fire-pits ( riverside steps, riverside patio & fire-pits are not maintained and closed during the winter months)Our guest suite offers a perfect and affordable retreat for nature-loving people, visitors to the humming artisan's shops of Elora, or guests of the stylish and up-scale weddings held in the famous, recently renovated Elora Mill Hotel and Spa. Walk to the local farmers market at Bissel Park and held every Saturday in the summer where farmers offer their vegetables, fruits and freshly baked goods. Its just a five minute scenic walk across an old walking bridge and just on the opposite side of the Grand River from our location. Bissel Park is also home to the famous Riverfest music festival held every August as well as Shakespearian plays held in July. Our neighbourhood is quiet with single detached executive homes alongside the Grand River and away from the bustle of town but within a short walk to the Downtown area. Downtown amenities include: The Elora Mill & Spa, The Elora Mews, numerous wonderful restaurants, bars, Elora Brewing Company, The Elora Distillery, The Elora Cinema, Victoria Park and much more. Visit the Elora Gorge Conservation area where hiking, kayaking, river rafting and tubing trips are available for the adventurous. In the evening hop over to the Grand River Raceway for a nice dinner, check out your luck in the Casino, or watch the horse racing. A professional Zip-line and rock Climbing Company offer events and classes for every experience level. The town of Fergus located just a 6 minute drive from Elora is the home of the Scottish Festival and Highland Games held every August or take a short drive to St. Jacobs-home of the famous farmers market and in the middle of Mennonite Country. All the charm and allure that surrounds Elora means there is no shortage of things to see and do.
