We welcome you to stay at the Bolinas Victorian Garden Cottage. Set in the heart of the quaint village of Bolinas, this property was originally constructed in the late 1800's when San Franciscans came for weekends or whole summers via schooner. The most notable schooner was The Owl which shipped local butter, cheese, hogs, produce, duck eggs and more to the markets of San Francisco, then returned to Bolinas with mail. 11 Brighton had once been a milliners shop! Without losing its historical charm the home has been lovingly modernized and features clean, mid-century interior décor. Privacy is created with a gated lovely garden in front and multiple seating areas around the property to relax and enjoy the Marin coastal air. It is just a few minute walk to the beach and tennis courts and around the corner from restaurants and shops. There is a 60" flat screen TV, Dish networks, DVD player, SONOS, and Wifi. Two off street parking spots. There is never a dull moment in Bolinas! Watch the sunrise on Bolinas Beach and the Sunset at Agate Beach. Walk to the Bolinas Museum which is known for its excellent art, photography and history exhibitions. The home is a short to play tennis, surf, fish, beach comb, build sandcastles. The Bolinas Mesa is ringed by Duxbury reef and out at Agate Beach s around the full moon is the best time to explore the abundant marine life in the tide pools. The Coast Cafe is the one restaurant in town and across the street is Smiley's Schooner Saloon which features live music, wine, beer....and Kombucha on tap. Fresh produce can be bought at the 24 hr Farm Stand or at the Bolinas Peoples' Store. The Bolinas Grocery Store has a great meat counter with grass-fed beef and pork along with fresh caught fish.
