Bourbon Trail Carriage House: Minutes to Keeneland

We invite you to stay in the Carriage House situated on the most desirable street in Versailles, the nearly 200-year-old property is located one block from downtown’s Main Street. Perfect place to stay if you are enjoying a day at Keeneland or traveling the Bourbon Trail. The Carriage House is adjacent to the historic home from 1815. The completely updated suite of rooms consists of 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen. The suite is decorated with horseracing folks in mind and the walls are covered in art and memorabilia reflecting the racing stable’s history. Keeneland is a straight shot down Lexington Road 10 minutes away. One bedroom has a king bed, the other a queen, and there is a sofa that can sleep another person. No expense has been spared in buying the best beds, sheets and towels available, as these were deemed to be essential for comfort. The suite is business friendly, with a desk, free Internet and a new flat screen TV with a full complement of Dish Network channels. Central Air and heating are up to date. The kitchen is well equipped, with a nice selection of spices and condiments. *Please Note: suite located on second floor and is accessible by a stairway, so not suitable for those with certain physical disabilities. Versailles is a little gem of a community, centrally located to most of the action in the Bluegrass. The space is located 10 minutes from Keeneland’s front gate, 11 minutes from Bluegrass Field airport, 22 minutes from Rup Arena, 22 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park and less than 10 minutes from Ashford Stud, Lane’s End Farm, Adena Springs Farm and Airdrie Stud. Downtown Versailles is a walk and includes some authentic Bluegrass dining experiences, right on Main Street. Walking distance to the newly renovated Amsden Coffee Club and the Amsden Bourbon Bar as well as the Galerie. Great location for those attending Breyerfest or Railbird Festival!
