The Beckmann is a one--bedroom apartment on the second floor, and accessible only by stairs. The apartment is designed for your comfort, with the intent to include everything you need for your stay. The kitchen has a gas range, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, frost-free refrigerator, and linens, dishes, pots & pans. When you are ready to go to sleep, super soft linens on the Beckmann's top-quality Queen-sized bed will feel so good! Before your arrival, the Beckmann will be stocked with welcome teas and treats, freshly roasted coffee, and light breakfast foods to start your stay. You'll also find a range of cleaning supplies that you're welcome to use and complimentary toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, Q-Tips, etc.). To keep our rates low, we don't replenish these items during your stay. The apartment has high-speed WIFI, and an antenna for local stations on the flat-screen television. You're welcome to log into streaming services to which you subscribe through the Roku Box. Parking is free on the street in front of the Beckmann. A laundromat is available in the building for residents. ​​​​​​​Dynamic pricing ensures competitive rates. Upon making a reservation, you will be asked to sign an electronic document to confirm your understanding of SF Shannon's payment and cancellation schedule and policies. The Beckmann is across the street from magnificent Tower Grove Park, a Victorian gem with more than 8,000 trees and shrubs, historic gates, gazebos and pavilions, a playground and wading pool, and a farmers' market that bustles with activity every Saturday during growing season. Within walking distance is the Missouri Botanical Garden, dozens of outstanding restaurants, as well as markets, coffee houses, and shops. Since all of SF Shannon's vacation rental apartments are in the historic core of St. Louis, we occasionally receive the question: “Is it safe?” This question is impossible to answer, because we typically know nothing about the person asking it. The co-owners live within walking distance of each SF Shannon vacation rental. Rachel, Karen and their spouses have raised their families in their respective neighborhoods, and have always felt perfectly safe.
