Our space is designed and built specifically as a guest house. It is comfortably furnished and well-equipped. This home includes heating and air conditioning, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and linens, and eco-conscious finishes throughout. We have purposefully chosen a sofa-sleeper that is actually comfortable. It is a high-end sofa bed with an air spring mattress - no uncomfortable bar in your back! Guests have access to their own private 715 square foot home, which includes one private, off-street parking space within a security gate. At check-in, you will be provided with access codes for the gate and entry into the home. A gate remote is available to you after check-in, as well. We respect and value privacy ~ yours and ours. That being said, we are fully available to our guests to answer any questions or address any issues that arise during your stay. We are avid outdoor lovers and have suggestions for hikes, scenic drives, parks and the like. We have lived in Eugene for over 14 years and love to share about the reasons we love it here. The Friendly Neighborhood features: Friendly Park, Madison Meadow, Friendly Street Market & Deli, J-TEA (tea house), Healthy Pet, Radiant Health (massage/sauna/acupucture), easy access to downtown Eugene, University of Oregon campus and Hayward Field.
