From the Maine Rose cottage, you can witness the most beautiful sunrises on one of the most eastern points of the United States; you can listen to the seagull’s cry and the squeal of laughter on the beach. You can also enjoy the late afternoon summer sun as you enjoy your cocktail while your toes are in the sand and you can fall asleep in the evening listening to the surf and feeling the rhythm of its heart. The Maine Rose Cottage is a 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath oceanfront escape either for a romantic get-away or a quiet family seeking the convenience of being on a private and rare white sandy beach. Bring your kayaks and hiking boots for your outdoor adventures in nature. This is NOT a party house, but rather a quaint cottage with quaint expectations. Amenities include gas stove/oven and heat, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and fans. The master bedroom has a California King bed. The second bedroom has a queen size air (Sleep Number) bed. There is also an inflatable twin mattress. Wi-fi. Best of all, there are rocking chairs to read in as you watch the waves and the birds. There is an outdoor little deck with an Adirondack chair for your morning coffee. Outdoor grill and lobster/clam pot. Picnic table. 2019 Improvements include a drilled well, renovated master bedroom, new roof and new driveway. 2020 Improvements include CA King size bed in master. New (sm.) gas range. New floor/walls in kitchen. Refinished/repaired rocking chairs. Non-smokers please. No pets. Please no third party reservations. No events or fireworks. Available June through September.
