Stunning Water View and Puget Sound Getaway.

Our Water View Puget Sound getaway is a beautiful wood studio that is a private part of the main house. The main house was built in the early 1900's and is nestled in a beach community on the Puget Sound. Rumor has it that Water View Cottage was used as a bootleggers cabin in the early 1900s! You will experience true North West Pacific charm and hospitality. The space is ideal for flexcations, stays that mix work and play, an ideal work and play destination with work friendly amenities. The Studio has it's own private King sized bedroom and living area. Both with interlocking doors and large French doors opening up onto unobstructed views of water, boats and mountains, we call it our infinity Garden! The outdoor dining area is heavenly in summer but equally inviting all year around. The studio also has a granite black and white glass bathroom, a couch in the lounge area and a real wood cupboard in the lounge area decked with a fridge, microwave (with grill function), and Keurig 2 refreshment machine. Spectacular views of the Puget Sound, Olympic Mountain range, the islands and sunsets. Local activities at our marina include, walking trails, beaches, sail boats, paddle boarding, kayaks, fishing and scuba diving. Only 17 minutes from SeaTac Intl Airport, 5 minutes from beautiful state parks and beaches, restaurants and stores. Water View getaway is centrally located from business districts and attractions: 26min from Seattle and 22min from the Tacoma. The Studio will comfortably sleep two adults on the king sized bed. Daily opportunities for walks on local beaches, sightseeing and soaking in the beauty all around you. On weekends you can experience and touch sea life at the local beach aquarium. A romantic trip away, a business trip, world travellers, relocation, sightseeing, visiting family, or a quick getaway... Water View Sunset Studio is beckoning. 3 Private keyed entrances on the opposite side of main house entrance, off street parking on our driveway. Guests have full access to the garden directly in front of apartment/studio (All other parts of the garden to the right of the dividing hedge are private). The Studio is connected adjacent to the main house and permanently closed/ locked off. The master bedroom is very quiet and private. Some sounds from the main house may be heard from the studio living room area as the studio's living area is adjacent to the main house. Water View is a home and you may hear and see children (in the gardens). High speed internet and Hulu/Netflix streaming. Having lived all over the world and also stayed in many vacation rentals around the world, hosts Richard and Ruth understand the desire for privacy as well as warm hospitality. Interaction with Guests is via the main house entrance on the opposite side of the property or via text messages. Driftwood, water, sunsets, smiles, warm hospitality, trees, nature, rest and breathtaking beauty. You will need a car or taxi as this is off the main bus route and is nestled in the heart of a beach community on the Puget Sound. There is off road parking for one car on the driveway. More parking on request. Outdoor dining facilities include a covered gazebo, outdoor seating area and fire pit. Strictly no parties, smoking anywhere on premises. No animals ( including service animals) allowed due to homeowners allergies. Maximum of two guests (an extra car) allowed for visits of two extra guests. Please inform host before guests arrival. Children not allowed unless with prior consent from hosts. We have unobstructed water views if the Puget Sound. Long term guests are able to access the private club beach, waterfront trail and picnic table facilities.
