Enjoy your own private patio and private dock. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets across more than two miles of water. Catch Maryland blue crabs right off of the pier and steam them up for dinner! It doesn't get any better. Additionally bring your kayak, canoe, sailboat, or boat which you can dock just outside on the private pier. There are numerous small creeks to explore, so don't forget your fishing gear, kayaks or crab nets. Cycling is also enjoyed throughout the region and the Beautiful Blackwater Wildlife Refuge is just a short drive away. Newly restored, the 2-story home is a vintage Eastern Shore farm house. This home has four bedrooms and two full baths as well as a full farm-style kitchen, dining room, and living room, all lovingly restored preserving its Eastern Shore charm. One of the bedrooms which is pictured as two twin beds has been changed to a bunkroom that sleeps 4. The other building which sits directly on the water is one floor and was originally the dance hall for the Cedar Grove Beach Club--a popular destination for local residents during its heyday. Today the 'dance hall' is a completely renovated one bedroom home with a full kitchen, bath and laundry. The gathering room which runs the full length of the water side of the home has two mile wide views from the windows that cover the walls the length of the room. High ceilings and tasteful, uncluttered decorating make this room an ideal place for everyone to gather. There are games, puzzles, books and DVD's to borrow while you are here as well as comfortably furnished space for both work and leisure. Keep your boat or jetski at the dock just outside. It is possible to fish and crab from your boat or the dock. Not suitable for weddings or other events requiring gatherings of more than 15 people.
