Our historic home features a traditional English garden, two fireplaces, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms to comfortably accommodate up to seven guests. We welcome you to stay with us & experience southern hospitality! The space Upon arriving at our Sears Craftsman, you are greeted by a 1920's southern, traditional, blue-painted ceiling covered front porch with a swing and cozy outdoor patio furniture. A perfect spot to pass time reading or watching walkers and runners pass by. Once entering the home, you are welcomed into the living room by museum quality oil reproductions, comfortable furniture, and inviting gas fireplace with large flatscreen TV. To the right of the living room is an bright, window-filled office/sitting room with desk, reading nook, and a single bed functioning as either a couch or a bed. This room has two sets of french doors and can be closed off from the rest of the home. Next, the home boasts a formal dining room complete with antique silver, mahogany furniture and chandelier. The table seats eight making it a perfect place to entertain or have family meals. Through a traditional butler's swinging doorway, the kitchen is full of all essentials needed for your stay - stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, and more. The kitchen also features a booth style table perfect for a game of cards or a quick bite. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Down the hall are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. All linens are provided. Here is the layout: The first bedroom features two twin beds, a piano, and a view of the home's traditional English garden. The second bedroom features a queen bed and wall to wall windows to enjoy the view of the home's traditional English garden. The full hall bath has a tub/shower. The master bedroom is perfect with its own fireplace, beautiful antique furniture, king sized bed and dressing table with mirror. The master bathroom can be shared with other guests or the door to the hallway can be locked to create a private bath for master suite guests only. This bathroom features a vintage cast iron tub/shower with original 1920's stain glass and tile floor. The hallway houses a vintage tapestry, as well as other replicas of famous pieces of art. Once at the back of the home, you will find a traditional English garden complete with boxwoods, fountains, statues, and picket fence. Depending on the time of year, flowers may be in bloom making the view breathtaking. Enjoy the garden at the patio table, which seats six, with umbrella for shade on sunny days. Pets are welcome at our home for a small one time fee of $30. We provide a pet bed, bowls, dishes, and towels for cleaning their feet. We do reserve the right to increase this fee if 3 or more pets are staying in our home. Parking is to the left of the home. Whether traveling for work or pleasure, our 1920's Sears Craftsman is a must for your time spent here.
