The Flyway Cottage - “Farmhouse”

The Flyway Cottage is conveniently located on Wisconsin's Great River Road National Scenic Byway with views of the beautiful bluffs and the Mississippi River. Within walking distance to the Fountain City public boat landing, bars, restaurants, winery, retail shops and ice cream/coffee shop. There’s also direct access to the Flyway bike trail. The newly renovated Cottage "Farmhouse" (main level) is 1500 sq ft and features a large living room with a couch, two leather chairs and a 55” Smart TV, dining room, 2 private bedrooms with queen size beds, a full bathroom, fully equipped eat-in kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, pots, pans and utensils and laundry room with Washer & Dryer. The town offers pleasant vistas of the Mississippi River from its characteristic terraced gardens. Nearby, 550-foot Eagle Bluff is the highest point on the Upper Mississippi. Seven Hawks Vineyard perches on the hillside outside of town while their Tasting Room is nestled in a historic downtown building. The Prairie Moon Museum & Sculpture Garden, a fanciful folk art attraction, is located just north of Fountain City. Winona, MN is located 10 minutes south of the Cottage.
