This amazing 2-bedroom 2-bath high bank vacation home has it all! Architecturally designed, every room offers magnificent views of Silver Lake The 1st floor features a living room with a gas fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, and a spacious dining area that are all open to each other. The 1st floor also includes one bedroom with 1-queen bed and one full bath. Upstairs, the master bedroom includes 1-queen size bed and offers a great soaker tub with a spectacular view of Silver Lake. A 3/4 bath is included as well. Outside, there is a full length deck with a gas fire ring, a private hot tub, and a propane BBQ,all overlooking the lake! Without a doubt, this is one of the most relaxing getaways that you will ever experience! This vacation property will sleep up to 4-persons (enforced maximum occupancy). The chateau now has landscaped stairs leading down the embankment to an attached dock and swim ladder! This vacation home received the 2014 Best Residential Wood Design Award and presented annually by the Canadian Wood Council. Congratulations to owners Dave and Dana!! This rural vacation home is located on an unimproved road that is not maintained by the county. While impassibility is infrequent, Winter Guests are strongly advised to prepare accordingly by utilizing 4-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles. HOT TUB/ NO PETS/ NO SMOKING/ NO WIFI The Location The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don’t forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round! House Manual Reservations are subject to a 2-night minimum stay during regular periods and a 3-night minimum stay during holiday and special event periods. The person making the reservations must be at least 23 years of age, ID required at time of check-in. All guests must stop at our office in Maple Falls.
