Looking for a peaceful place to get away from it all in one of the best small towns in Virginia and within walking distance to the award winning Virginia Creeper Trail -this place has it all. A peaceful, cozy and affordable authentic log home with modern amenities within minutes to all the adventure that Damascus has to offer and a short drive to Grayson Highlands State Park where the wild ponies roam. The space This cozy cabin peacefully sits on over 4 acres with a wrap around porch with ample seating to immerse yourself in nature. Keypad check-in Guest access Entire cabin except for garage Other things to note Only one shower in the home at this time. The hot water in the shower takes a couple of minutes to heat up . Water heater is able to handle back to back showers. Wifi code on the refrigerator. The Wifi in the area is not very strong but is fine for streaming on one device and working from home. May have issues if multiple people are on social media or streaming devices. No other options in our rural area at the time- unfortunately. If internet is out please unplug the router in the bedroom upstairs for a few minutes and then restart. Please do not dispose of sanitary napkins in the toilet, non biodegradable wipes or paper towels. Having to hire a plumber to come may incur additional cost if related to improper disposal in the toilets.
