The third floor has two bedrooms and another full bathroom. The finished basement contains a Peloton and weights, full bath, and leads to the patio and perennial garden designed by a famous RISD landscape architect. The beautiful private garden, tiered water fountain, and comfortable outdoor seating below the deck offer guests a relaxing atmosphere amid the surrounding city. This house is on the National Registry of Historic Properties, a Providence Preservation Society plaque house, and was featured in a cover story for Colonial Homes magazine. One parking spot in the driveway and free street parking available. It is within walking distance of downtown (.5 miles to WaterFire, .5 miles to Providence Place, .8 miles to Providence Performing Arts Center), Brown University (.5 miles), RISD (.4 miles), Whole Foods (.4 miles), Prospect Terrace Park (.3 miles) and Thayer Street (.8 miles). Also a short walk (.4 miles) to Providence Station (with easy access to/from NYC and to/from Boston - a 45 minute train ride to Boston), a 35-40 minute ride to Newport, Narragansett, and the beaches of Rhode Island, and 45 minutes to an hour to Cape Cod.
