Modern Train Station | Professionally Designed | Minutes to Mount Sunapee
Lake Station Lookout was designed to look like an old train station to commemorate the old Boston & Maine Railroad that passed through Newbury Harbor and dropped visitors to Lake Sunapee. The original Newbury train station developed by the B&M Railroad helped turn Lake Sunapee into a popular vacation destination before the introduction of the automobile. Located ½ mile to Newbury Harbor and less than 2 miles to the entrance of Mount Sunapee and Mount Sunapee State Park Beach & Recreation Area on Lake Sunapee. Lake Station Lookout is newly remodeled and professionally designed. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with granite countertops and new appliances. The open concept kitchen and living area boasts a sofa bed, large screen TV and bar for enjoying your meal. The first-floor bedroom has a king bed and desk perfect for working remotely along with half bath. Upstairs, you'll find the master bedroom and master bath with king bed. The master bathroom features a sliding barn door and glass enclosed shower with pebble tiled floor. The tile work in this bathroom is spectacular. Enjoy the outdoors on the screen porch or patio complete with grill, fire table and bean bag toss. Important Considerations * We are located on Route 103 which is busy during the day. Inside the noise in minimal but outside you will hear the road noise. * There is a half bath on the first floor and master bath with shower on the 2nd floor. * The stairs to the master suite are steeper than usual but they are carpeted and we have a handrail. * We have a sign on the property for Sunapee Vacation Rentals, you can view it in the photos.
