Captain Jack's Bay Hideaway

This cottage sits just across the street from the Chesapeake Bay on the Western Shore. You'll have access to two community beaches where you can sit, relax, and just enjoy the scenery. If you are an early riser, you can enjoy beautiful sun rises over the bay. If you search the sand you might even find fossils, including shark teeth! Close proximity to Washington DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore. There are a lot of local restaurants and shopping. You won't be disappointed. The house has a nice back deck with a screened porch and a Florida room with a lot of light and a view of the Chesapeake Bay. There are two bedrooms with double beds and two futons in the Florida room. These are most suitable for children. Shower/tub has soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser. There will be a small supply of toilet paper, and paper towels to get you started, otherwise the house is self-catering. There is a standard coffee pot with round filters and a Keurig machine. You will have access to the entire cottage, the screened porch, deck, and super lush large yard - all the way to the fence! You will also have access to two private community beaches. We will be available by message through Airbnb and may even see you on the beach! Long Beach is a private beach community and a very close neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We are just 20 minutes from Lusby (south) and Prince Frederick (north), which both offer places to eat and shop. Further south is Solomon's Island, with a lot of seafood restaurants and shops. Only an hour from both Annapolis (Maryland's capital) and Washington DC (our nation's capital). An hour and a half from Baltimore and the BWI airport. Due to COVID-19 and people's desire to get out of the house and enjoy the sun, our private community is having a lot of problems with 'outsiders' coming in to use our beaches. As our guests, you can use our beaches, but must use the hang tag (provided at the house) at all times. Please be respectful of physical distancing while at the beaches.
