Charming efficiency apartment decorated with a coastal theme overlooks Breton Bay. Use of pier for hanging out... or crabbing and fishing. Apartment is in the second floor of detached garage on the premises of a private home. Beautiful serene surroundings 5 min. from downtown Leonardtown with shopping, restaurants and events. Area offers historical sites, wonderful parks, a large Mennonite and Amish community, great restaurants and friendly people! 25 minutes from Solomons Island. The above the garage apartment has a beautiful view of Breton Bay, which is a body of water off of the Potomac River. The private apartment is located in our detached garage. The entrance is through our garage, and up a flight of steps to the private nautical decorated efficiency apartment. The apartment has a king sized bed, full couch and love seat, a desk for working, a full bathroom, and a fully appointed kitchen with oven and microwave. The refrigerator is full size. Guests have access to the entire apartment and the grounds down to the pier. The the pergola area can be used for grilling out. We can set up the grill for you. Designated parking space for guests. We live in a detached home, so we are available to answer questions about the area. If you need anything not available in the apartment we will try and get it for you. Leonardtown is the county seat of St. Marys county which is the first and oldest county of Maryland. Great town with lots to do. Our guests have access to the full apartment with private entrance and usage, the grounds, garden and the pergola infront of the apartment as well as the pier for fishing and crabbing. We have seating set up for enjoying the sunsets. We do not have a beach on our property, it is not designed to use the water for swimming. There is a boat launch with a small beach minutes from the apartment, and several state parks very close.
