1812 Pierce House - Private 1st Floor Studio

Summary: 1812 Pierce House is a unique home on the National Register of Historic Places. Full of antiques & modern touches. If you like interesting places to stay, this is for you! If you like straight lines & central air, we recommend a hotel. This studio has its own entrance and includes your own entry hall, bedroom w/ table, closet, & small hall leading to the bathroom w/ shower. Small fridge, hot water kettle, coffee/tea, & large microwave. We can provide a toaster & small stove for longer stays. The Space: Our home is a great jumping off point and central location to many incredible Maine locations. Guest Access: The entrance, suite, and bathroom are all yours. We have many guests who use the suite and never enter the main part of the house. That said, you’re welcome to join our shared spaces on the floor, we ask that you wear a mask and keep in mind that I live here with my children. We are fairly neat but not perfectionist. We believe in Science and will provide extra cleaning supplies, gloves, masks, and sanitizer for you. We feel most comfortable with outside socializing with our quarantine bubble and we also wear masks in public. We keep our windows open because outdoor air is healthy. :-) The suite is equipped with a microwave and fridge, but you are welcome to use the kitchen. We just ask that you clean up. The house is big enough for us to chat while remaining physically distant or to enjoy time in the yard. The Neighborhood: 1812 Pierce House is located in the “Village” area of Winterport. A quiet town that’s a great jumping off point to Acadia National Park, Bangor, Belfast, the Mid-Coast, and DownEast Maine. Getting Around: If you are coming here, a car is a must. Other Things to Note: I love this house. It’s unique and full of character. Keep in mind that due to its age, it’s not perfect. We’ve upgraded a lot and we enjoy its charm. We hope you do too! Interaction with Guests: I’m always up for a chat and happy to meet you or leave you to solitude if that is your preference.
