House in Highland: Secluded Retreat Near Walkway Over the Hudson

Located in Highland, NY and nearby to New Paltz and Poughkeepsie, this home is a retreat with private trails to views of the Walkway Over the Hudson, a hot tub and multiple entertaining areas. The stylishly appointed home includes 3 bedrooms, two deck areas, along with a gas grill and an outdoor wood burning fireplace. NOTE: WINTER MONTHS REQUIRE A VEHICLE WITH AWD. *Not a pet friendly home, sorry! No parties. The home has an exterior security camera that monitors the driveway. *The driveway can get slippery in the cold winter months. Cars with 4WD are necessary. *Ticks/bugs are a regular part of Upstate NY. Tick prevention sprays for yards are very toxic to animals and pets, so we do not use them. Please be mindful of checking yourself when spending time outside. *This house does NOT currently have a back-up generator. *Due to risk of fire, please do not charge your electric car on the property. No smoking in or on the property. No parties or extra guests outside the maximum occupancy allowed on the listing. No loud music after 9pm. No weapons. Our property management company, Home Sweet Hudson, is available to provide you with Guest Support. Home Sweet Hudson works with local third-party vendors who can provide some great add-on features to your stay, paid directly to the vendors: - Private yoga class - In home private chef - Private massage session - Wine tastings KITCHEN: The large kitchen includes ample counter space as well as a gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and large stainless steel refrigerator, and a large breakfast bar with seating for four (4+). Also features a Keurig coffee maker, automated tea kettle and toaster. Fun activities include: pasta maker and ice cream maker; also a Kitchen-Aid mixer. LIVING SPACE: The living room features mid-century modern décor with a vaulted ceiling, seating for family and friends, dining room with seating for 10, large 75 inch TV and Malm electric fireplace for ambience. A separate family room on the opposite side of the house offers more space to watch TV (medium sized TV with streaming options) or unwind as well as a separate area for WFH. OUTDOOR SPACE: The house offers everything you need for year-round entertaining. Features include a multi-level deck with access a gas fired grill, outdoor lounge area with chiminea and a back deck with fully-private nine-person hot tub (can be used without heat as a plunge pool for summer entertaining). BEDROOMS: - Primary Bedroom: Queen bed + en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and private entrance to the hot tub - Guest Room 1: Queen bed - Guest Room 2: 2x – Full beds Washer and dryer on the first floor available for use. Toiletries from Public Goods available in the for your convenience. Please, no pets, partying or smoking. Bringing authorized pets, extra guests, or any proof of smoking or partying will result in a fine.
