A one of kind cottage and cabin set in Cornet Bay along side Deception Pass State Park. The views are breathtaking and you'll feel like you just found your piece of heaven. The main cottage has two bedrooms and the back cabin sleeps 2-3. The best part of the compound is the old "net shed" that has been completely restored that sits out over the water. You'll never want to leave. The space A slice of heaven for kayakers, hikers and explorers, and only 1.5 hours from Seattle by car. You can leave the chaos of the city and be nestled in a State Park overlooking Puget Sound with a glass of wine in your hand before the sun sets. The compound entails a main cottage with two bedrooms (king and queen beds with memory foam mattresses), gas fireplace, wrap around porch, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, ping pong table in the basement and views for miles. The back cabin has been completely remodeled and beautifully decorated with a queen bed, gas fireplace, kitchenette for making morning coffee and toast, and bathroom with a shower. The jewel of the property is an old net shed that sits over the water and has been completely restored with a deck and sliding glass doors that open to Puget Sound. We have a big BBQ, picnic table and fire pit to encourage our visitors to cook and eat out over the water. We also have a slip at the dock to park your boat if you choose to arrive via boat, but please let me know in advance so we can make sure it is available. There are also very reasonable options within close walking distance as well, and we can help reserve it for you. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, coffee maker, plates, etc. that you'll need to make a gourmet meal. We have also stocked it with the basic spices, oil, coffee, etc. so that you don't have to worry about purchasing those at the store. The property has wifi so you can relax and work from one of the decks or put your kayak right in the water and explore Cornet Bay. It really is a one of a kind property where you can easily enjoy everything the San Juan Islands have to offer from hiking, biking, boating, cliff jumping, whale watching, etc. I look forward to sharing this special place with you.
