Pontoon is available during the summer at offered at a discounted rate if you book for a week. House also come with a paddle boat and fishing rods. During the summer you will enjoy some of the best sunsets available. In the winter you have an option of renting out a custom built 8x16 ice shack or get it included if you stay for a full week. You are 30 miles from either St. Paul or Minneapolis which offer everything from nightclubs to classic theaters and stores. Cattails is located just 20 minutes to Taylor’s falls for those that like to ski or go on a river cruise. It’s also only 20 minutes to Stillwater which offers a piece of Minnesota history. Forest lake itself features several bars and restaurants that include Vannelis on the lake, old log cabin, Stella’s, Norman quacks, famous Dave’s, friars, VFW, Legion and much more. If you are looking for a great breakfast than try Keys cafe. Downtown forest lake features several modern and boutique shops along with a park that overlooks lake one. Additionally, there is a beautiful public beach right at the park! Perfect for little ones, as the water is shallow and sandy!
