Rosedale Cottage

Rosedale Cottage is a new addition to our rental market. It was recently renovated and updated in its entirety. You will relish the serene location of this cottage - located on a saltwater peninsula directly on the New Meadows River in West Bath. The cottage enjoys saltwater recreation on both sides of the peninsula with only one house beyond it; a quiet relaxing location, offering easy access to Bath and Brunswick and the many midcoast attractions. You will immediately be taken by the fresh salt air and surrounding ocean water as you pull up to the cottage. There is, along with the landscaped gardens, a patio, and seating options. Once entering the cottage, you will pass through the beautiful newly done kitchen. Off of the kitchen is the brand-new bathroom with a stand-up shower. Beyond the kitchen is the living room which is full of windows and views of the New Meadows River. This room is cozy and set up perfectly for enjoying a book or puzzle. Off of the living room are the two bedrooms. Continuing through the living room is a riverfront sunporch directly over the water. The sun porch has a day bed that sleeps one. The cottage is equipped with WiFi, local TV, and internet-capable programming. The pier and floating dock provide the perfect location for enjoying all water activities and setting sun common for Maine summer days. While some parts of the New Meadows have no water at certain tides you always have water access at this rental. There is a wonderful deep-water dock for swimming, fishing, and your boat. The New Meadows is a widely acclaimed location for sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Beyond the cottage, there is a wide variety of restaurants in scenic Bath and Brunswick to enjoy the local cuisine. Both towns boast a wonderful interlude for those seeking that authentic, local, small-town shopping, art, theater, and museum experience. And, if you need a beach fix, Popham Beach and Reid State Park offer the absolute finest for those seeking the nearby sandy shores of Maine’s bold seacoast! You are invited!
