The Farmhouse Cottage is a 2 king bedroom 2 full bathroom cottage residing in in the Ouachita Mountains at Stonehill Cottages. The Farmhouse Cottage is on a 240 acre property that includes an 11 acre spring fed mountain lake known as Bethesda Lake, that is exclusively available for use by Stonehill Cottages guests. Fishing, swimming and kayaking (kayaks provided)! Near the lake you will also find some natural springs that were "developed" back in the 1800s. The Farmhouse Cottage is located on paved roads and is about 4 miles from the city of Mena yet sits on property that borders the US National Forest. You can ride into the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trail system from our cottage location. The Farmhouse Cottage has a fire pit, a wrap around porch, fully equipped kitchen and utility room, wonderful views of the Ouachita Mountains, a queen sleeper sofa and an inflatable bed as well to add extra sleeping space. There is a world of outdoor activities nearby and in the general area - hiking, ATV riding/rentals, state parks, rivers, lakes, creeks and the list goes on and on.
