Your stay at Villa Caleta includes deluxe, resort style amenities: a bartender and personal chef who prepare and serve three meals a day, daily housekeeping, and in-house massage/spa services. Villa Caleta, a short drive to the Four Seasons Resort at Punta de Mita, is the ideal destination for those who seek privacy, luxury, and tranquility…yet it is located just 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta with its international airport and world-class dining, shopping and nightlife. Our property is 20 minutes from the funky surf town of Sayulita, and just two miles from the quaint, sleepy village of San Francisco (locally called San Pancho). The villa itself is a luxurious hideaway built beneath a traditional palapa. The roof soars to over 60 feet, creating a dramatic zenith for this unique home. Open-air design optimizes our stunning jungle surroundings, and the living room, swimming pool, and dining decks feature unobstructed panoramas of the Pacific Ocean. Most of Villa Caleta's wood and stone were locally sourced in Nayarit. All the doors and windows are handmade, along with two enormous tables hewn from fallen trees within Las Clavellinas. The Villa includes four bedrooms, each with a king bed and private bath. There is also a double sleeping loft with private entrance that shares the main bathroom. Cielo Suite: This suite has its own—highest—level of Villa Caleta. Its bathtub and shower overlook the ocean. Selva Suite: The Selva Suite provides a private jungle patio and expansive bathroom with double sinks. Palmera Suite: Spacious and romantic, Palmera is full of light—watch the sky change colors from your bed or private seating veranda as the sun rises and sets. Tortuga Suite: This secluded suite is the quietest and most private. With a king bed and daybed, it is a great unit for a family with small children in tow. It is also the closest to beach. Sueño: This cozy and private sleeping loft features a double bed and shares the main bath off the common area. Perfect for a single traveller or older children. You can relax all day on the sands of our secluded beach, pass the hours beside the sparkling, sapphire pool, or drift off in a gentle hammock while the palm trees overhead sway with the tropical ocean breezes. If you're craving a getaway within your getaway, we can charter a whale watching, fishing, or surfing expedition for you—the boat picks you up on the sand below the villa. We also provide kayaks and snorkeling gear to explore on your own around the cove. Lastly, Villa Caleta is equipped with a beach-friendly ukulele, yoga and light fitness equipment, dozens of books and movies and a 120 inch portable projector/screen that can be set up anywhere on the grounds of the Villa for your own movie night. Oh yeah, did anyone say I wish I could play a round of disc golf? Well you can absolutely play a round on our own 18 hole/basket course that meanders from the beach through the jungle. You can go home and brag that you played a round at the world's first jungle disc golf course. Best of all, after a day of fun and exploration, you can watch the sunset in the pool with a margarita in your hand!
