Seven Mile Beach Best Kept Secret
Welcome to our home! Crescent Point is located directly on Seven Mile Beach and conveniently located to many restaurants, shops, Camana Bay, water activities, liquor stores, 2 grocery stores and car rental. Crescent Point is located towards the southern end of famous Seven Mile Beach, a quiet, luxurious and relaxing complex centrally located. Daily housekeeping except on Sundays and Holidays. Lush manicured grounds with a free form pool complete with hot tub about 60 steps from the front door and plenty of dining chairs, lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. Only 27 units in the complex for a uniquely private, calm and tranquil atmosphere. The beach, about 100 steps from the front door has plenty of chairs, umbrellas, palm trees and shower available to you. I can assist you with updated requirements for entry to Cayman Islands. NO SMOKING/VAPING condo, experience our little piece of paradise we have updated with luxurious appointments. This is not your typical vacation rental as it is our home and is equipped as such. We limit the number of rentals we have each year and our complex isn't full of short term rentals, no need to rush down to save chairs at the pool or the beach like many other complexes. The lush grounds are professionally manicured and maintained. In addition to the pool, hot tub, private beach and sea is a free onsite fitness center. The grounds are very quiet (construction on new property next door is scheduled to be completed in 4/22) with ample sun or shade both on the beach or pool with umbrellas and palm trees to provide shade. A very short walk to the Marriott which has all the water sports available if you desire more activity to the north as well as the Ritz and Westin. Directly south is Georgetown and many more shopping and restaurants to explore. We purchased our unit in July 2017 after staying with friends at Crescent Point over the past several years as well as renting units at other nearby resorts. After considering several other locations , we settled on Crescent Point for its privacy, excellent amenities, location and not the crowded resort feeling of so many complexes that are full of short term rentals. We renovated the unit replacing all of the furnishings including updated fixtures, new mattress and box springs, light fixtures and furnishings. All new stainless kitchen appliances, new high efficiency (He) top load LG Washer (please bring a few High Efficiency laundry pods in a zip lock bag in your checked baggage) and dryer in unit for your convenience and new master bedroom furniture including new king mattress and box springs. We can sleep 6 (MAXIMUM 6 ADULTS) comfortably with a king in the master bedroom and second bedroom, 2 twin beds in the 3rd bedroom, and a pull out sofa with a queen mattress which will sleep 2. No extra guests or visitors without prior permission from the host. Very large screened lanai (PLEASE NO SMOKING/VAPING ON LANAI) is the width of the unit with access from living room or master bedroom with direct access outside just steps to the pool, beach or grilling area with 2 gas grills to prepare your own meals. The lanai has outdoor sofa and 2 chairs plus dining table for 6. Crescent Point has a beautiful beach and natural reef directly in front of the property for wonderful snorkeling (you may want water shoes for entry), we have seen nurse shark, spotted eagle rays, stingray, octopus and many other sea life recently. Marriott is 4 properties to the north with an artificial reef for additional snorkeling opportunities. Crescent Point has over 200' of beach that is protected by iron shore. There are times after storms the sand gets moved around and walking north on the beach may be difficult or impossible. Currently if you do not want to walk in the water going along the beach, there are many public entrances along West Bay Road (runs parallel to the sea with sidewalk) to the Public Beach Access before the Sovereign (.6 miles or about 1500 steps is furthest access to remain totally out of the water) but as the sand has moved back in there is a nice public access just north of the Hampton that is about 500 steps. White Sands Water Sports https://www.whitesandwatersports.com you will be able to rent all of your water sports toys and have it delivered and pickup for your convenience. If you are looking for an awesome diving experience, I can refer you to a dive operation that suits your desires that will pick you up at the resort and store your gear or rental gear for the duration of your dive trip. The floor plan is very open with pool and sea view from the kitchen, dining, living and master bedroom. Kitchen is equipped with brand new stainless appliances, pots, pans, glasses, silverware and utensils if you feel like making meals in the large kitchen (only basic spices available). This floor plan is 1820 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Master bath has large walk in shower and free standing soaker tub. Each bedroom has at least one large closet, dresser, mirror, box fan (for noise or comfort) and ceiling fan. Second bedroom and third bedroom is located directly next to the guest bathroom. Guest bedrooms are on opposite side of condo from Master for additional privacy. Cable TV with US network channels, high speed internet, local phone, washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker (coffee not provided) and Keurig (pack a few K cups), toaster, hair dryer are provided for your convenience. Daily maid service except Sundays, Good Friday and Christmas. All bed linens, bath, beach towels (bath and beach towels can be changed daily if you desire) and enough toiletries to get started are provided. Most stores on Island are closed on Sundays so if you forget something you have a few items to start with (toilet paper, paper towels etc). I recommend packing a few High Efficiency laundry pods in your check baggage. Cayman Island Government Tax is 13% and service fee in lieu of tipping for daily maid service the Strata (HOA) charges 6%. I do charge a refundable deposit or you can elect to purchase damage protection from VRBO. PLEASE purchase Trip Insurance if you want a refund within 60 days of your reservation as we have a STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY. The deposit secures your reservation and covers any damage to the unit or elect the damage protection offered by VRBO. I return the deposit within 14 days after your stay if the unit is left in the same condition as found. Our on-site Property Manager will check you in and verify with you the condition of the unit and will meet with you again on check out if you desire (recommended) so you know prior to leaving there will be no issues. Rates are determined by time of year, Cayman Islands Government 13% Tax and 6% Service Charge in lieu of tipping is the guest responsibility. Look at your dining receipts carefully as many restaurants/bars automatically add a fixed percentage for gratuity. I would like to remind everyone this is a NO SMOKING unit, inside the condo and on the lanai. In addition, PLEASE be cognizant of keeping all doors closed other to enter or exit. With the lush landscaping comes all kinds of little critters who like to let themselves in while the door is open. Please do NOT sit on any furniture including lanai furniture wet so it won't mildew/mold for other guests. If it rains please make sure the cushions on lanai are moved away from the screens to keep them dry, thank you! We also would appreciate you using a coaster on wood surfaces to avoid damaging the surfaces. We also request you to not use spray sun screen inside the condo or lanai. We do not have a sand entry into the sea, but a short walk south about 200' a large sand entry in front of Sunset Cove there is easy access, however our beach is very deep, peaceful and tranquil due to the iron shore that protects our beach area. You may want water shoes to walk into the sea from our property. Our beach is not conducive for small children to play on the waters edge. A sand entry is about 200' to the south (towards Georgetown) in front of Sunset Cove/Margaritaville. Box fans in each bedroom for back ground noise with ceiling fans in each bedroom for additional comfort. If you prefer a sound machine over the fan you would need to provide. We recommend to have a walk through with Manager prior to checkout to verify no damages. Foster's at Camana Bay (walking distance) delivers groceries for CI$20, online shopping at https://shop.fosters.ky. Kirks Market (walking distance) delivers groceries, simply email your list with the brands you prefer (if no substitutes wanted simply say no substitutes) to Kirk's Supermarket for CI$15 (US$18.75) plus costs of sacks Kirk's Supermarkets (about 3/4 mile walk) will do your grocery shopping and deliver them to your unit. Hurleys has a very easy to navigate online shopping experience, they do charge $40 to deliver to Seven Mile Beach as it is further away, but the online experience is so much easier in my opinion. You will need to provide the Property Manager's name, phone number and unit number. Search either Kirks or Hurleys Grand Cayman.
