Farm Fun Getaway

This is private lodging space in the lower level of our home. It has a window and private walkout exit. Enjoy the scenery of grazing farm animals in front of a tree line. There is 1 bedroom, a large common area that serves as a second bedroom and living area and a private bath. Lots of activities (including fishing, games, play area) for families, reunions, groups, retreats or vacationing. Within 30 minutes of the airport and downtown Kansas City. Close to several interesting sites. This is an active family home. Tom and Sherry live on the main level. There are no animals living in this home, but goats, cows and a bee hive live on this farm. The home is smoke free. This lower level, besides being used for storage of often used items for Tom and Sherry, is designed for their large grown family to stay when they are visiting. When their family is not there, Tom and Sherry would like to share this space with other guests to enjoy. Guests will be able to access the whole lower level privately. They will also be able to access the shared main level from the lower level or outside, which includes an eat in kitchen, living room and half bath. This house also has 2 other listing, one with just the upper level and shared space and another with all 3 levels of the house. Because Tom and Sherry are farmers on these grounds, they are around the grounds a lot of the time, and available to assist their guests as needed. Occasionally, they may be away, at which time they will be available by phone to assist. This neighborhood consists of beautiful small farms. There are row crops, pastures, animals, trees for hunting, quiet meadows and rolling hills. On a clear night the moon and stars are easily seen. Uber is the only public transportation available from this farm. There is very little road traffic but the animals will let you know when it is feeding time.
