The Little Red Cottage

One private bedroom with a queen-size bed and a queen-size sofabed in the living room (not private). A truly unique setting, ever changing setting, first row to watch the tide come in or out, and to keep the million-dollar unobstructed view, please watch out for your dog and kids. We are right on the water, in the Annapolis Basin, there is no real beach to stroll in, and the currents are quite strong, so we don't recommend swimming. We are 2 minutes away from Annapolis Royal in the Village of Granville Ferry, so we are surrounded by our friendly neighbours. However, you will feel on your own in the backyard. The newly renovated cottage is a charming place with the quirks of all old houses, and that in itself makes it unique but not the Ritz. Guest access Propane BBQ. beautiful views. You can borrow our dog to go for a walk! Although the summer is too much for him and sometimes he politely declines. Basic cable and plenty of kids DVD's and DVD player, Kitchen is stocked with basics: Mayo, mustard, ketchup, salad dressing, oil, vinegar, spices, complimentary coffee and tea. We will greet you when you come, and be available for any needs or inquires you might have. Our home is located on the same property. Just remember that you are in our home, so please treat it respectfully. Remember that we are in the same property, if you look closely at the photos, the house in the back is us, this is how close we are to each other, BUT, we won't interfere with you or even hear you! Other things to note Let us know if there is anything else you need, we will try to accommodate you. We are right ON the water, so please be careful with your dog and the kids (can't stress this enough) there is a fire pit in the backyard for your enjoyment, sometimes there are fire bans in the area so please check https://novascotia.ca/burnsafe/ before you start a fire, the fines are hefty and WE WON'T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM. Make sure the fire is put out before you turn in. No parties. Your friends or family in the area are welcome to visit but not to stay, the cottage can only accommodate 4 guests (children included)
