Tucked away in the Canyon Ridge Sub-division minutes from downtown Golden, Beautiful British Columbia, your mountain view property is a comfortable self-contained 1-bedroom suite with views of Purcell and Selkirk mountain ranges, is perfectly located and minutes from golf, skiing, hiking, rafting, biking and snow-machining. We offer off street parking for up to 2 vehicles including space for a truck with sled deck or sled trailers, as well as ski/snowboard and bike storage. Hideaway on Quartz offers you cozy accommodations; the master suite is off the main living area with ensuite bathroom. Additional sleeping space is in the main living area on a sleeper couch. The suite provides you with a large living space including TV/cable/Netflix games, and modern decor to complete your mountain retreat experience. The suite has a large open kitchen, stocked with enough small appliances and equipment for you to cook up a gourmet meal for your group, Hideaway on Quartz is suitable for couples, families, small groups and business travellers. Guests have private access to all areas of the suite. This is our year-round residence you may see/here us and our kids moving around the property. With that being said, we recognize that you are on vacation - so we as available to you as you would like us to be. From your comfy retreat at “Hideaway on Quartz" you get to customize your own unique adventure. Golden BC offers unparalleled outdoor opportunities. From expansive mountain views, nestled in the middle of 6 of Canada's most amazing National Parks, Golden is an outdoor Mecca with access to world-class skiing (downhill, cross-country, back-country, heli-ski; you choose) and mountain biking, the Mighty Columbia and Kicking Horse Rivers are on your doorstep offering white water rafting, kayaking and wildlife viewing - had enough of the outdoor adventures - our small town is minutes away and offers multiple options for a post activity meal or beverage at one of the many locally owned and operated restaurants and bars. We are happy to make recommendations and assist you in making reservations. There is no public transport in Golden. Our property is close to local mountain biking trails and you can ride to town on the divided bike trail adjacent to HWY 1 (Summer only) ) if you like. There is a taxi firm in town if required.
