Latest Review - July 2019 Wonderful Bellamare! Having only stayed on resort properties while visiting the BVI, we booked Bellamare for 10 days in July 2019 as the major resorts have yet to reopen on VG. Simply stated, Bellamare is a jewel and our new favorite place to stay in VG. Bellamare is well furnished with great attention to details. High quality furniture, linens, A/V, etc. provide you the sense that you truly are sharing someone’s home rather than just a rental property. The well-stocked and provisioned kitchen allowed us to cook most meals at home while enjoying dining on the expansive outdoor terrace. Mornings and evenings were spent on the terrace and multiple balconies enjoying the great view of Mahoe Bay. Speaking of Mahoe Bay, it too is amazing. Almost desolate at times, you truly felt you were staying at a five star resort with its sugar sand and uncrowded feel. We rented a Hobie Cat, kayak and paddleboard from Blue Rush Watersports and the children were not for want with activities. We learned that Bellamare was one of the first properties to be rebuilt at Mahoe Bay after Irma and the Owners’ care and pride for their property is obvious.
