*Walking distance to the Town of St. George
1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, (600 sq ft), private patio. This is a charming, comfortable and cosy garden apartment located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, on the outskirts of the historic Town of St. George (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Some of Bermuda's best beaches (stunning, with great snorkelling) are close by. The Old Town of St. George’s is a popular destination for tourists who want to see the well-preserved historic old town and nearby fortresses. It is a beautiful and quaint town with tons of character and charm. The Town of St. George is known for being the territory's first English settlement. Colonial buildings on and around central King's Square include the 18th-century town hall. Nearby, the Tucker House Museum is a typical home from the 1700s, with displays of crystal, silver and period furniture. Other notable landmarks include St. Peter's Church, founded in 1612. The apartment has a queen bed in the bedroom and a day bed in the living room. There is a well equipped, fully stocked kitchen and a separate dining room. The bedroom and living room both open to a sunny private patio. The dining room opens to a private covered porch. Both outdoor areas have lounge seating and a table with chairs to dine outside. The nearest bus stop is a 6-minute walk, the town centre is a short scenic walk and the nearest beaches are a 20-minute walk. Many restaurants are within walking distance (Wahoo’s, Tempest, The Wharf, Munchies by the Sea, Wong's Golden Dragon, Mr Chicken, Temptations, Mama Angies and The White Horse). The new St. Regis Hotel is within walking distance with fine dining. We are adjacent to the new Five Forts Golf Course. A 10-minute drive to the airport, 30 minutes to the City of Hamilton.
