Very convenient when you need to refill your Margarita or to get your kids inflatable:) 3 - NATURE/OUTDOORS. Tropical trees and birds that surrounds our home is magical. Enjoy a cup of fresh brewed morning coffee in the patio while the birds are chirping away. We also have a HAMMOCK under a tree, BBQ/BAR & DINING areas which is a great spot to spend time outdoors with family and friends. Few things to considerate BEFORE booking. 1 - NO LOUD PARTIES are allowed. Events and gatherings are OK but no loud music or any kind of loud noise after 11 pm, please respect my neighbors. 2 - Our property is located on the Colonia side. Although it is very conveniently located (5 min drive from beach and town square), don't expect to find McDonald's or Burger King on our street corner. The closest chains of restaurants can be found in Cancun or Playa del Carmen, which is about 30 minutes, either way. That said, we do have a local and delicious burger place (La Cabana) at the corner of our main Delfin avenue, located 6 minute walk and you'll not be disappointed. A Convenience Store (Beer, Matches, Ice, Water bottles/gallons, Snacks and more) is also found within 6 min. walk from our house. The large dining room table can sit as much as 8 people and was custom made by the one of the owners. The bright and open concept living room features a L-SHAPE COUCH, AC, CEILING FAN and TV area. The 4 bedrooms are fully furnished. Bedroom 1 (Master): KING mattress, AC, Walk-In Closet, ENSUITE BATH and a WALK-OUT BALCONY overlooking the street. Located on upper level. Bedroom 2: QUEEN mattress, AC, Closet and A WALK-OUT BALCONY overlooking the POOL and GARDENS. Located on upper level. Bedroom 3: BUNK BED (Full and Single), AC, closet. Located on upper level. Bedroom 4: TWO SINGLE MATTRESSES (Convertible to KING), AC, Closet. Located on lower level. The place also features 3 FULL WASHROOMS with SHOWER and TOWELS. WASHER/DRYER is located in the lower level Washroom. 2 FULL Washrooms are located on the upper level. Interaction with guests I like give my guests space and privacy. I'm always available when needed. We live outside the country but have a wonderful hostess -who lives in the same residential helping us with the up-keep of the house and caring for the comfort of our guests. Other things to note Please be considerate and take care of the place as if it was yours. When using the bbq, be safe and take precautions. Please be mindful and turn off all the A/C units and fan ceilings when you are not in the house. Neighbourhood overview Puerto Morelos is nestled between the two bustling tourist cities of Cancun and Playa del Carmen, it gives visitors the chance to dance to a different beat. This quaint Mexican fishing village rests within the northern part of the “Mayan Riviera” and boasts the world’s second largest barrier reef. Centrally located, Puerto Morelos allows visitors the opportunity to appreciate the many different faces of Mexico. Only 20 minutes from the Cancun airport and 5 minutes from the bus terminal, it's a prime location for exploring the Yucatan Peninsula. Getting around As every seasoned traveler know, the best way to enjoy Puerto Morelos is simply to unwind, relax and explore the unspoiled beauty of this serene stretch of the Caribbean. Taxis and Uber in Puerto Morelos are inexpensive and safe. The beach and town square is only 5 min drive and can cost you from $25 to $40 pesos depending on the season ($2-3 usd). Once arrived at the square town, you can enjoy a wide range of food cuisines and drinks. Tons of shops and local artisans in the square. There is an amazing place for brunch just across the park called "El Nicho", highly recommended. There is also a fresh fruit market down the street that blends fresh juices every morning. You can also rent bikes for under $10 Usd a day. There is also a "colectivo" (small van) that can take you to either Playa del Carmen or Cancun for only $25 pesos p/p. ADO (bus station) is located in the main road to the beach and can take you anywhere along the Mayan Riviera. Places of interest and most visited are the Mayan ruins: Chichen Itza, Cobá, Tulum and El Rey. Ecological theme parks like Xcaret, Xplor, Xel-Há, Xenses, Xenotes, and Xoximilco. Swim in fresh water sink holes “cenotes” in the famous Ruta de los Cenotes. Enjoy the fine Restaurants and Cafés in town and the plentiful night-life options.
