Our home is steps away from Cabo Matapalo and the famous right point break "Hog Hole." Located on one of the most pristine and sought out beaches in all of Costa Rica, soak in the ocean breeze and panoramic views from the comfort of your front porch. The property has two homes that can rented separately or together. The listing is priced for the whole property rental / up to 10 people. The Beach House is our beachfront home that sleeps four people: two bedrooms (one queen bed/two twin beds) and one bathroom. Nestled among the almond trees overlooking Mata Palo’s right hand point break, the beach house is a dream like lodging experience. Newly constructed of beautiful tropical hardwoods, this house has two bedrooms with queen sized beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Wifi and hot water are included. Fall asleep to the dreamy sound of waves tumbling on the beach and wake up to a symphony of tropical birds singing in the morning. This is one of the few homes in the area with a refreshing ocean breeze as well as large flocks of scarlet macaws who frequent surrounding almond trees. Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles are also commonly sighted from Matapalo beach. The beach house rents for $220 per night. This price is for 2 guests, with an additional $30/night each for up to 4 guests. These prices exclude peak holiday season rates and 13% sales tax. The Jungle House is our more spacious home that sleeps six people: two bedrooms (one queen bed in the upstairs bedroom and four twin beds in the large downstairs bedroom) and two bathrooms (one full and one half bath). While still just a two minute walk from the beach, the Jungle House offers a more spacious accommodation immersed in a lush rainforest setting. Just across from the house stands a breathtaking 150 foot primary rainforest Chilamate tree. Sloths, four species of monkeys, toucans, coatis, aquatis, over 20 species of hummingbirds, and tyras are just a small fraction of the abundance of wildlife that are seen in the area. Upstairs there is fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with a queen sized bed, full bathroom, and a spacious living and dining area. Downstairs there is a large bedroom with four twin sized beds and a half bath. Hot water and wifi are also included.. The Jungle House rents for $175 per night. This price is for 2 guests, with an additional $15/night each for up to 6 guests. These prices exclude peak holiday season rates and 13% sales tax. Although the site is set up to charge $35 per extra guest, we offer the option to rent the whole property (both houses) to larger groups for $450 per night. This price includes up to 10 guests. Fall asleep to the dreamy sound of waves tumbling on the beach and wake up to the symphony of tropical birds singing in the morning. You will be absolutely delighted upon tasting one of the many tropical fruits grown on our property; depending on the season, try a papaya, banana, guanabana, mango, or lime!
