Grenada Love Shack

Less than 100 footsteps from tranquil Morne Rouge BBC Beach, St. George, Grenada, The Love Shack is a little ole’ place where you can get together. The self catering condo is a one bedroom with a American king-sized bed, plus a double lounger sofa bed, so it sleeps up to 4. (5 if someone loves a hammock on a veranda!). The fully fitted kitchen is dated, but offers you all appliances in good working order- including fridge/freezer, range and cooking utensils. For coffee lovers, there’s a coffee machine. For teatotallers, there’s a kettle. A microwave and toaster is available for the non-chef types. (Sorry, tea and coffee not included). The bathroom is also shabby chic, but fully functional, although the bidet is now a modern art sculpture! Coming soon – an outdoor shower to rinse the salt and sand from your elegant locks of hair and tanned limbs. If you need to, pack light, as there’s a clothes washer on site, along with a laundry line and clothes pins. For rainy days, enjoy a plethora of books in our library and DVD movies to watch on our little 13″ tv. The best thing to do is hang out on the covered veranda in the hammock and enjoy the view! Slip a song in the cd player and take a nap. Located less than a minutes walk to the fab Sangria restaurant on one side and Kalinago Bay Resort on the other, you can also easily walk a couple more minutes to the friendly and lively Flamboyant Resort where there’s a pub and beach side dining. From there, you’re at the south end of Grand Anse beach, so take a sunset stroll down the beach to dine at any of the resorts. Feeling lazy? Order from several local delivery places. The Love Shack is the ideal place to relax and unwind for honeymooners, second and third time around mooners, small families, a couple couples, or just yourself. Enjoy the leisurely pace of island life, swim and hang with the friendly people of Grenada. But don’t worry if being in another world scares you- we have limited wifi for you to check your emails and post on social media so all your friends can wallow in your good fortune!
