Spacious and bright, 2 separate bedroom 2nd floor apartment in Caldwell, NJ in a quiet and safe neighborhood with off-street parking for 1 car. Close to NYC transportation, restaurants and shopping. This is perfect for business travelers in need of a short term rental, such as, traveling nurses, those relocating to the area or who are in between homes due to construction, etc., as well as, those who want to go into NYC for a show but don't want to pay NYC hotel prices. This is the upper 6-room apartment above the owner-occupied main apartment. This apartment offers incredible space and can accommodate 4 guests. Should a circumstance arise where additional guests are staying with you, there will be an additional $ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) per person, per night charge. (There is a (Website hidden by Airbnb) more than 6 guests max) In addition to the 2 bedrooms (master bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd bedroom has a daybed with a trundle pullout which gives the opportunity to be 1 twin, 2 twins or 1 king size bed), this apartment has an eat-in-kitchen, full dining room, spacious living room AND sunny office. The new kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, gas range and granite counter-tops. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower. The apartment has wall-to-wall carpeting throughout and a thermostat allows you to control the Central Air Conditioning and Heat. A multitude of windows provides wonderful natural lighting making the apartment a bright and sunny space. Off-street parking available for 1 car. Included: All dishes, glassware, mugs, bowls, utensils, pots/pans, etc. Keurig coffee/tea machine, toaster, linens/pillows, towels, cable TV and wireless internet. This is a 2-family house. To enter the apartment, come up the driveway and enter the house through the side door, walk up the stairs to the top floor apartment. There is parking for one car and the parking spot is located in front of the right bay of the 2-door garage. The driveway must never be blocked. Always pull your car forward, stopping just in front of the right-side garage door. My husband and I live on the 1st floor. We are available either in person or by phone. We leave a binder in the apartment with information about the area, as well as our house rules. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your stay, please feel free to ask questions. Caldwell has a vibrant, walkable downtown filled with restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, a movie theatre, laundromat, dry cleaners, banks and supermarket (Foodtown), all within walking distance. There is a variety of other supermarkets just a short drive away. A lovey park with a playground is a short walk away. Caldwell University is just around the corner. Montclair State University is approximately 6 miles away. This apartment is ideal for business travelers and families. We are conveniently located near Routes (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , and 3, in addition to the Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike. Direct bus into NYC is within walking distance and commute time is typically under 1 hour. Newark International airport is 16 miles away. For longer term guests, a washer and dryer (not shared) is available, if needed, and is located in the basement. I provide complimentary items such as paper products, dish detergent, hand soap, etc. If you require more of these items during your stay, then you shall have to purchase your own and sufficient to last for your stay.
