One of a countryside cluster of self-catering cottages converted from farm buildings, close to Hartland Abbey House & Gardens and a wonderfully wild stretch of the South West Coast Path. Child and dog-friendly with a wood-burning stove and Atlantic views from the shared picnic/play area (barbecue provided). The shared spa room with it hot tub, & sauna is bookable by the hour for private sessions An easy-going, secluded place for country lovers to unwind, with or without their children and dogs. Come for simple things like silence, clean Atlantic air, star-gazy skies and Scrabble by the fire. Walkers love the wild, craggy beauty of the South West Coast Path around the Hartland Peninsula. Surfers take to the waves at the slightest opportunity. Everyone gathers at Hartland Quay, for sunsets, swimming, and a pint at The Wrecker's. Retreat And there’s plenty to visit too – Gardens, galleries – cream tea rooms of course - steeply cobbled Clovelly, and Lundy Island - a helicopter hop from the Point or a boat trip from Bideford. The Stables is part of what was once a stable block and is now a grand-level cottage with a small outside courtyard seating area. It has: Open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with beamed ceiling - electric oven, microwave, fridge and a good range of kitchen units and equipment Double bedroom (hairdryer) Twin bedroom Shower room.
