The Baytree Shepherds Hut

The Shepherds Hut is a perfect hideaway tucked amongst beautiful Cotswold stone barns dating back to the 1600’s. Baytree Farm is situated at the heart of a lovely quiet Cotswold village with its local pub 2 minutes walk away. The Shepherds hut is tastefully furnished and very cosy, perfect for two. It includes a double bed a 32 inch smart TV, dining area, wood burning stove a kitchenette and a toilet and shower room. Fresh bedding and towels are provided along with a complimentary basket of wood. The Shepherds Hut is tucked around the corner from the main yard, and over looks rustic 16 century Cotswold stone barns, there is plenty of parking and outside seating where you will be visited by our free roaming chickens . This truly is the perfect place to escape to for some much-needed peace and quiet. We are available if you need any help or if you have any questions. However, we will not interrupt your stay unless absolutely necessary and with as much notice as possible. Set in the Heart of the beautiful Cotswold Village of Nympsfield, the Shepherds hut is within a 2 minute walk of the Rose & Crown, a short walk to the famous Cotswold Way and Coaley Peak escarpment View Point, which gives spectacular views over the Berkeley Vale across the River Severn to the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons beyond. Also within walking distance is Woodchester Mansion the unfinished grade 1 listed Gothic Revival Mansion set in its own valley which recently appeared in the Netflix drama The Crown. This is a great place to stay if you are interested in hiking, gliding or you're attending a wedding at the nearby Kingscote Barn. Nympfield is located 6 miles south of Stroud which has recently been voted in the Sunday Times as the best place to live in Britain, in part due to its beautiful surrounding villages stunning valley views and a nationally acclaimed farmer’s market. There are many other small towns nearby worth visiting such as Tetbury, Nailsworth and Cirencester. All of us at Come & Stay Ltd. take your health and safety very seriously. Therefore, we are doing everything we can to give you peace of mind during your much-needed break. We have enhanced cleaning procedures: Our cleaners have been retrained and have each been given an extensive check list, which they are advised to sign at the end of each shift. We have stocked up on cleaning products for both our cleaning team and our guests to use should they so wish. Guests will have access to all areas of the Shepherds Hut and the Baytree yard for parking. We are on a farm and so there are chickens roaming around the yard. please do make sure that the main gate into the yard is closed once you have entered / exited. This is a great place to stay if you're interesting in hiking, gliding or you're attending a wedding at the nearby Kingscote Barn.
