Kenilworth House benefits from a unique renovation, off street parking, free WIFI, comfy super king size bed, a comfy king size bed, a sofa bed and free child travel cot/high chair to accommodate several guests, this is perfect for business or leisure, giving a real home from home feeling. It's a 5 minute walk from Ashington Town Centre where you can find local shops and some lovely places to eat and drink. The Space: Your space is your own here, and we are nearby if needed. Just pull up onto the drive at the property, come in and drop your bags - your rooms are all set up for you, with towels, complimentary teas, coffees and biscuits in the kitchen. LOUNGE & DINNER Kenilworth House features an open plan living and dining space, offering a comfy corner sofa which converts to a double bed, a four people dining table. a Smart TV where you can log into your own streaming services such as Netflix/iPlayer/Amazon Prime etc. (Please note: TV doesn't have an aerial for terrestrial TV. We also have thrown in a couple of board games, puzzles and books to keep you entertained during your stay. KITCHEN You will have a full Kitchen and Utility room facilities including oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, automatic washer/dryer. The kitchen also includes a dining/breakfasting area for two. BEDROOMS You have 2 main bedrooms; 1 x King Size Bed. 1 x Super King Size Bed (which can split into 2 single beds, please request if need single beds). All together Kenilworth House sleeps up to 6, plus a child. There is a double bed sofa bed in the lounge. A travel cot and high chair available. There is plenty of storage in the bedrooms, drawers and built in wardrobes. BATHROOM You have a stylish modern bathroom with shower over bath and Mason & Miller toiletries. HOUSEKEEPING After setting up the apartment for you we leave you to self-check in and we are on hand for answering any questions and making sure all are comfortable with arrangements. We clean before and after your stay, and every 7 days we are happy to refresh the whole place, replenish your towels, change the bed linen, and provide more hair/body wash gel and hand wash gel if you are with us for a while. GUEST SUITABILITY We are accepting family, company, executive, contractor and leisure reservations and can accommodate you for a 2 night minimum stay. Guest Access: Guests will have access to all accessible area of the property and its facilities. Other Things To Note: Uber don’t yet operate in Ashington but they will bring you back to Ashington from Newcastle City Centre. ------------------------------------------------- The Neighbourhood: Kenilworth House is a great base to explore Northumberland and the beautiful North East Region. There are several areas around Ashington to explore nearby including Alnwick, Amble, Bamburgh, Morpeth, Newbiggin By The Sea, Warkworth and many more. The property is in the heart of Ashington Town Centre! Only 5 minute walk from the high street “Station Road”. Fancy a takeaway? Taj Tandoori Takeaway provides delicious Indian cuisine and Antep Pizza provides amazing pizzas which are both situated on Station Road. You got that sweet tooth? The dessert and cake shop on Station Road are to die for! When the lights go down and we're at an acceptable hour, head to Hop 77 for their amazing micro pub brewery. The beach is only 4 miles away! Newbiggin By The Sea being the nearest. Newbiggin has the longest promenade in Northumberland and hosts a Lynx golf course. A Maritime Centre which is overlooking the beach, with museum, cafe, and a tourist information centre in close proximity. Woodhorn Museum is nearby has regular events throughout the year, and there is coarse fishing at the Queen Elizabeth II Country Park and of course, sea fishing on the beach. Shoppers can enjoy a variety of shops in Ashington ranging from high street retailers to independent ones. In Newcastle area we have the Intu Metrocentre & Eldon Square which is every shoppers dream. There are food and drink facilities as well as cinemas. Those that are fans of a good breakfast, there are a few fantastic breakfast diners in Newcastle, Butterfly Cabinet and The Dispensary Coffee House are some of our favourite spots for breakfast. There is a market on a Sunday morning along the Quayside in Newcastle that is great for a wander on a Sunday morning. Getting Around: There are regular buses to Newcastle City centre. The bus stop is a stone throw away on the next street Park Road. The route also goes to Ashington Bus Station, where you can go North to Alnwick and Berwick, East towards the Coast, South towards Newcastle City Centre and West towards Morpeth. Morpeth has a train station which can take you to Newcastle City or Edinburgh. Using the car is the most suitable way to travel along the coast or why not experience our 'Coastal Route' via a bicycle. The property has a driveway for a car and also on street parking. Permits not required.
