For those wishing to explore beyond the beauty of Ironbridge, there are many local towns of interest to discover: historic Bridgnorth, a town of two halves, is connected by a unique Victorian cliff railway, Madeley is home to a selection of listed buildings, most notably Madeley Court, while medieval Much Wenlock boasts half-timbered buildings, whipping posts and stocks. Beyond the towns, the countryside invites, with kayaking, canoeing, cycling, golf and fishing all available nearby.
