Beautiful apartment in the heart of Como, "CASA ALBERTINI" is a house in a historic building from the late 1800s, recently renovated, ideal for a family on vacation or a group of friends. It can host up to 4 people. "CASA ALBERTINI" is the result of the love of its owners who about five years ago thought and worked on its renovation pending Alberto's arrival. The apartment, on the third floor without lift, of a splendid late nineteenth century court building, has two large double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, a bright and warm living room with sofa, a small balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and a Laundry. Here, just like at home, you will find all the comforts of a real home, such as bed linen, free wifi, air conditioning, heating. To visit the city you will not need a car, because the house is located in the center of Como a few steps from Como Nord Borghi train station and the lake, where you can embark to reach the most famous places (Cernobbio, Menaggio, Bellagio , ...). Guests will have access to free wi-fi and laundry with washer and dryer. Private parking available under the house. Attention, the garage can only accommodate sedan cars and small SUVs, not station wagons! Upon request and payment also transfer service to / from the main Lombard airports. Available on request, baby cot and 9 -18 kg car seat. The guests of "CASA ALBERTINI" will always be welcomed by trusted family staff. Unfortunately I will not be able to always be present. In the event, I will be available and reachable by phone or message and I will try to best respond to requests. Guests will find at home a list of useful information (wi-fi password, supermarkets, pharmacies, nearest hospitals) and with our favorite bars, restaurants and clubs in the area. Check-in available from 20 to 23 with an extra € 10 charged to the customer. The initial cleaning includes bed linen and towels for all people. It is possible to make a special request for a cleaning and linen change service during your stay at an extra cost of € 70. EXTRA cleaning mandatory for stays longer than 10 nights (EXTRA € 30, only cleaning and no change of linen). Infants (under 2 years of age) are not counted in the maximum number of guests and do not pay. At most two babies can be accommodated. Children (aged between two and 12 years) will instead be counted and pay as adults. Upon arrival, the presentation of identity documents will be required to fulfill local security practices and the payment of the tourist tax (1 euro per person per night up to a maximum of four nights). The city of Como, enclosed between gentle morainic hills, is an easy city to travel on foot. The historic center, between the old medieval walls, is full of delightful corners, prestigious monuments, many shops. Various things can be seen in Como, the city offers visitors eyes as well as beautiful views, also monuments and places full of history and testimonies. Como offers pleasant discoveries to an attentive visitor with the lake and its historical monuments such as the Duomo and the Basilica of Sant'Abbondio. And then the silk unique in the world for refinement and originality, the result of a creativity that constitutes tradition for the people who live on the lake. Really close to Milan, reachable by train in less than an hour and, given the short distance from the Lombard capital, you can also organize the round trip in the day. Writers, poets and actors have chosen Lake Lario for their holidays and to seek inspiration between the Lavedo peninsula and Comacina Island, the only island formed in the third largest Italian lake. The apartment is very well connected by public transport, bus and railway station. The centrality it has makes our neighborhood (COMO BORGHI) particularly privileged for the city of Como. The area is in fact very well served by public transport, but you can also walk everywhere easily. If you arrive by car, we recommend the highway exit "Como Centro" (A9) continuing towards "city center". Access to Via Milano is free, with the exception of the early morning hours (7am - 9am) during which the transit is reserved for residents and buses only. More precise information will be given to you as your stay approaches. If you choose to arrive by TRAIN: - from Como S. train station Giovanni you can use the urban bus service. The most convenient is the number 5 or the number 8 (both leave from the train station at intervals of about 20 minutes; the ticket can be purchased at the station bar or directly on the bus with a surcharge) and lead directly to Via Milano, right in in front of the main door after six stops; - if you arrive from the Northern railways, your stop is Como Nord Borghi. From here, exiting the main gate, take Via XX Settembre, straight ahead of you, and follow it all. Arriving in Via Milano, turn right. The apartment is a few meters later.
