The House at Waters Edge is sparkingly clean and lovingly presented. It has three beautiful double bedrooms, two of which can be made up as a twins if needed. Three bathrooms (two of which are ensuite with Juliette balconies overlooking the canal). The third bedroom has a full bathroom with bath and shower, immediately next door. Free parking for up to 2 cars on the private driveway, within the gated community. Opposite the house is a delightful park with a children’s play area and steps up to the Roman Walls. The living room and the kitchen dining room are sparklingly clean, sociable areas, finished to an excellent standard. The living room has two plush, velvet, Chesterfield sofas and a pink velvet chair. There is also a stereogram to play your vinyl. The french doors open on to a small balcony next to the canal, with views of the Roman Walls and community hub. Netflix is available on the Smart TV in the living room. With the exception of the bathrooms, every room has a flat screen TV, and there are DVD players in the bedrooms. Walk in shower available in two ensuite bathrooms and bath with over bath shower in the third bathroom. Weekends start on a Friday - please get in touch if you need flexibility on the day or time. A great option for commercial or key worker stays as each bedroom has its own bathing facilities. The House at Waters Edge sits on the Shropshire Union Canal, so enjoys great views, peace and quiet to the front and a privileged gated courtyard and parking at the rear. Five minutes walk to the green, open space of the race course, or the river walk. Two minutes and you're walking along the canal or exploring the ancient Roman Walls, or enjoying the park opposite. It's a short stroll into the city centre along the walls, the tow path or the main road. There is no need to drive as everything in the city is within easy walking distance. Chester Zoo is a short drive away and the mountains of North Wales and the national parks are nearby. Late check out may be available - just ask to check. Waters Edge sits just outside of the city walls (visible from the house), with easy access through Water Tower Gardens park, with children’s play area, opposite. Historically, this site was the old port, linking the city to the river beyond. The community building alongside the canal opposite the house, and the children’s play ship in the park, is a reminder of this nautical heritage. This luxurious property is ideal for Chester Races and a great base to explore the city on foot or a quick taxi ride to Chester Zoo or Cheshire Oaks for some spectacular shopping!
