One bedroom apartment at Regency Guest House
Our double bed apartment occupies the first floor enjoys a park view from the bedroom/living room. Within this light and airy room you will find a comfortable double bed with duck and down feather duvets and pillows. The brand new private bathroom is located next door to the room and contains a shower, hand basin and toilet. The apartment has a sofa, desk, flat screen TV, DAB radio, hair dryer and free Wi-Fi access and laundry and cooking facilities are available to use in the fully equipped kitchen. This room has a small single futon beds available for use, the futon is for occasional use and more suited to a child or small adult. If you wish to book the futon for use you must select a third person and this will instruct us to provide you with the extra bedding needed. Regency House is a small, independent, boutique hotel accommodating tourists, business people and academics. It is housed in two beautiful, five storey Victorian buildings side by side and located in Cambridge city centre. Built in 1850, the hotel has the charming characteristics of a typical Victorian townhouse, with high ceilings and sash windows. There are 16 stylish rooms and apartments split over five levels; most have a view of the historical 25 acre Parker’s Piece and two have balconies. Just a five minute walk from the bus station and fewer than ten minutes from the train station. In 2015, the hotel was fully refurbished with a contemporary colour scheme design from Farrow and Ball. The house has been transformed with new bathrooms, carpets, furniture and fittings. Wi-Fi runs as standard throughout the house and is free. Every room has a flat screen TV, DAB radio, comfortable mattresses with duck and down feather duvets and pillows. Regency House may not be suitable for guests with disabilities or mobility issues due to the rooms being spread out over five floors. Regency House does not have a night porter to assist guests , guests must be able to evacuate themselves in an emergency. There are no vibrating pads or visual alarms at this property to alert guests with disabilities in the event of fire.
