Riverside Cottage, A cosy home near Winchester

Riverside cottage is a cosy home from home, situated in the quaint village of Shawford. Recently refurbished and with stunning river views, it is the perfect base to explore Winchester and the beautiful British countryside. The cottage is very close to Shawford Mainline Train Station, with direct trains to Winchester, London Waterloo and Southampton Airport Parkway. We also have a private parking space for you to use during your stay. On the ground floor you will find a cosy living room, a dining area and kitchen, leading through to an airy conservatory with views of the garden. The conservatory is a lovely spot to relax with a cup of tea and a newspaper. Upstairs, the pretty master bedroom is located to the front of the house. It’s beautifully decorated and has views out towards the river. The second bedroom is cosy and snug, and again has lovely riverside views. The brand new bathroom is very spacious and comprises of both a bath with a shower, and a separate walk in shower. Fluffy towels and high quality linen will be provided for your stay. The garden is lovely and you can sit out with a coffee and enjoy the surroundings. Pets considered on request.
