This welcoming and well-kept holiday home in the beautiful Flemish Westhoek countryside is wonderfully furnished and perfect for a varied holiday with the whole family. The fantastically furnished holiday home lies in a quiet location on the meadows between the towns of Poperinge and Veurne, near the French border. Take your dog with you on vacation. The large garden is completely surrounded by a high fence and offers a great view of the landscape. The garden is also equipped with a cosy picnic table, sun loungers, a grill and trampoline, a football goal and badminton rackets. The holiday home was a café in the past, which can still be recognised today by the beautiful bar in the large dining room. The holiday home also has a cosy living room with a smart TV. The country kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, deep fryer, toaster and hand blender. A small staircase leads to the toilet and a cosy bedroom with a bunk bed. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. Westhoek is a beautiful, unspoiled region that can be easily visited from this holiday home. Take a walk or bike along the banks of the Yser River and be amazed by the impressive landscape. The holiday home is located near Poperinge, a pleasant town with nice shops, restaurants and leisure opportunities. The zoo De Zonnegloed is located 8 km away, the open-air museum Bachten de Kupe 10 km, a guided tour and beer tasting in the St. Bernardus brewery 11 km, the Belvedère tower in the picturesque village of Kemmel 23 km, Plopsaland De Panne offers entertaining excursions for the whole family 24 km away, and the amusement- and aquapark Bellewaerde 25 km away. The historic towns of Veurne and Diksmuide, 22 and 24 km away, respectively, are also very interesting. The fabulous city of Ypres impresses with sights such as the Gewandhaus, the Menenpoort, the fish market and the In Flanders Fields Museum. From this holiday home you can also spend a day at the beach, for instance in De Panne or Koksijde. It is also worth visiting the small French towns of Bergues and Saint-Omer 18 and 43 km away.
