French doors on the first floor lead to an outdoor dining decked area, with views of the sea and woodland. The large, double floor lounge has traditional paneled features, with a piano and balcony, giving it a historic feel. The building was once the main entrance to a Victorian boarding school, where famous figures once taught and studied. Evelyn Waugh wrote his novel, Decline and Fall, while teaching at the property, based on building and the characters who resided within it. Window seats in many of the large bedrooms face the coastal views, and straight out of the driveway you can enter the woodlands, where you'll discover caves, hilltop views, streams, farm animals and Gwrych Castle.
